Dapo grew up in Hampstead, North London with his parents, two working professionals and his two younger siblings, where an appreciation for Oxford shirts started early. Fashion and style have always been important to Dapo and the Oxford shirt has been a staple in his wardrobe for as long as he can remember. His style is heavily influenced by his father, who was immensely proud of his job but took equal pride in his appearance, where an Oxford shirt was a regular go to.

As the eldest child, Dapo often spent a lot of time with his father and it was a case of first up, best dressed in his household. Now grown up and working in the City, life for Dapo is busy. He has a successful career working in tech, a hectic social life and loves to document taking his passion for all things fashion to new heights. The Oxford shirt provides a great base for Dapo to style upon and leaves him comfortable and confident from desk to bar!

Dapo is pictured in our classic collar and button-down, Oxford shirts. These are shirts that will see you through every occasion. Paired with a jacket for more formal events, or with jeans for those lazy weekend pub-lunches, it’s the most versatile shirt you can own – it’s also the one we are most proud of.

There is so much that set them apart from the crowd. Look out for the beautiful, rolled collar, the buttons are positioned so it is not flat and lifeless like so many others; and the extra weight of the Oxford cloth, which gives the shirt body and drape. It feels great to wear and gets better with age.

See also how that last button is horizontal, adding a bit of robustness. There is a hanger loop at the back and check out the buttons, there is a chunkiness there to give further strength. Finally, we have added our griffin logo, again in navy, but on the gauntlet, because we really don’t like to boast.
