Hollie started her floristry business, Blue & Boheme, in the Cotswolds at the beginning of 2021. Having previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a laboratory scientist, becoming a florist was a bold career change for her, but she has never looked back. Loving everything she has experienced and immersed herself in so far. We love her business motto… ‘Live Simply, Bloom Wildly’.

Before Hollie took the leap to open her floristry business, she undertook formal training in Cambridge. Having always had a love for beautiful things, especially flowers, Hollie loves being creative and bringing a vision to life. Her biggest inspiration was her Granny, a keen flower arranger and to whom she owes a big thank you for instilling creativity and enthusiasm within her beautiful projects.

When not in the shop, there is nothing Hollie loves more than travelling around her local area of outstanding natural beauty in search of a flower field to seek inspiration for her next stunning project. All her creations are bespoke, so you will never see the same production twice. Everything is made using the freshest mix of seasonal flowers, sourced locally, within Lechlade itself, but also from the daily Dutch flower auctions.

Hollie is pictured in her shop working on one of her latest creations wearing the Eva Belle shirt made with Liberty fabric. We work closely with Liberty of London, Britain’s biggest textile name since 1875, delving into their archive, to create a range of shirts in their signature prints. And we have put together a collection that features a mix of floral, geometric and figurative prints.

Hollie is also pictured wearing our Knitted Neppy Vest, the ideal choice when there is a slight nip in the air. Its shorter length looks great layered over dresses and shirts and the neppy weave adds surface interest and just a little bit more style.
