Pete & Tom

Founders The Bell Inn, Langford

Pete and Tom, born and bred Cotswold gents, reopened the doors to this much-loved local pub in December 2017. The Bell offers a modern country pub feel, showcasing the pairs’ love for a hearty, classic, British menu with the addition of wood fired dishes and an extensive wine and beer list all with a strong focus on great hospitality and ambience.

With its enchanting features, exceptional food and cosy atmosphere, the pair quickly found themselves featuring in The Times 100 best British Hotels and grabbing attention from the likes of Dolly Alderton and Tom Parker Bowles. The ultimate seal of approval came from Giles Coren who said of The Bell:

“What Tom Noest and Peter Creed have done with this pretty old pub is nothing short of divine, it was so pure, so honest, so tear-jerkingly real and true. Best mouthful of the year, best mouthful of my life more like”

The journey has continued for Pete and Tom and they now have The Little Bell, within Soho Farmhouse and have opened their second pub, The Lamb, in Shipton Under Wychwood. If you’re in the Cotswolds, a visit to The Bell is a must, or why not make it a weekend to remember, and try all 3!

Tom is pictured wearing our classic Oxford shirt in Pink. This is a shirt that will see you through every occasion. It is also the one we are most proud of. This has been paired with our cashmere crew neck in ultra-blue. Crafted in pure cashmere, this sweater is both luxurious and practical. Beautifully soft to the touch and holding a richness of colour, you’ll be pleased to wear this at every opportunity.

Pete is pictured wearing our button-down country shirt in beige and green check. Crafted in brushed cotton, the woven check is commonly known as a tattersall, named after the horse market, founded in London in the 1770s. This has been paired with our lambswool crew neck in navy. We love working with pure lambswool, its soft, breathable, and warm. Classic knitwear that’s at home under a jacket for trips to town or paired with a thick winter coat for afternoons on the touch-line.

“What’s not to like about the Oxford Shirt Company shirts. Whether pulling pints, or out and about sourcing fresh local produce, they look great whichever side of the bar you are!”
