Source theright cotton
Always researching more sustainable fabrics, options that are better for the planet without compromising the hand-feel and structure that defines a real oxford shirt.
A quiet commitment
Not a manifesto. Not a marketing campaign. A working list of small, honest improvements, and a tree planted for every shirt that leaves our door.
Our Forest, Live
Every order plants a real tree, tracked transparently by our reforestation partner.
The widget below is live, refresh it to see the latest count, the species planted, and the projects you’re supporting.
Powered by Tree-Nation, every tree georeferenced and tracked.
Our Position
We’re not perfect, and we’d rather say so than pretend otherwise. The Oxford Shirt Company are taking meaningful, measurable steps towards a better-made shirt and a lighter footprint.
It’s not about trendy greenwashing. It’s about incremental improvements that contribute to a more sustainable future for clothing, from the fibres we choose, to the packaging that carries them, to the forests we’re helping to grow with every order placed.
Three promises
Three small, certain things we promise on every order, no asterisks, no caveats. The bigger work continues quietly in the background.
One tree planted for every parcel that leaves us.
Kerbside-ready packaging. No plastic mailers, ever.
A shirt designed for the next decade, not the season.
Fabric to Forest
Every shirt has a journey. Here’s the version we’re working to keep honest, fibre, finish, parcel, plant.
We get greener as we grow, committing to more sustainable practices with every step forward.
Oxford Shirt Co., Burford
Buy a shirt. Plant a tree.
Shop the new season, and add another tree to a forest that’s already growing, one parcel at a time.

This page is updated as our practices evolve. We’re a small, family-run shirtmaker, what we say we do, we do. If anything here ever falls out of step with reality, please write to us at internet@oxfordshirt.co.uk and we’ll put it right.
